This blended learning course will allow you to complete the theoretical elements online, through interactive activities which will check your understanding as you work through the content. At the end of the online learning, there will be an assessment which you will have a number of attempts to complete. Once you have completed the online learning and assessment you will attend the practical training day of the course, which will include a water test assessment, online exam and Learner Assessment Portfolio to be completed within 2 weeks of your practical training day.
To start your training you will be invited to join your tutor and others on your course, for a webinar. This will be hosted on ZOOM and will help you kick-off your studies, introduce your tutor and familiarise you with the online learning environment.
The specialist online learning is split into bite-sized pieces, so you don't have to do it all in one go. This will mean you can work through the theoretical section of the course online at home, at your own pace, over the coming days or weeks.
The practical training day will include some classroom workshops, a water testing assessment and multiple-choice exam.
At the end of the practical day, you will complete a Learner Assessment Portfolio within 2 weeks of the practical training day.
