The academy allows aspiring swimming teachers to receive all their training for only £85, compared to the usual cost of over £1000. It includes a mentor to support your development and you will be matched with an employer.

About
Work hours are generally part-time including weekday evenings and weekends.
Once qualified, successful trainees will be employed as swimming teachers to work at the following swimming pools:
Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite, Grand Parade, Skegness PE25 2UG
Horncastle Pool & Fitness Suite, Coronation Walk LN9 6HP
Meridian Leisure Centre, Wood Lane, Louth, Lincolnshire LN11 8SA
Station Leisure and Learning Centre
A DBS check will be required before starting your volunteering hours.

Applications may close before this deadline, so please apply early to avoid disappointment.
Shortlisted applicants will be given the opportunity to find out more about the swimming teacher opportunity at an informal virtual meet and greet session and interview that will take place after the closing date.
You don’t need any prior qualifications to apply as you will be supported through your training, although we are accepting applications from those who are halfway through their swimming teacher training or already have their level 1 or 2 qualifications.
Swimming teachers will need to hold (or be supported to gain) a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC).
