Colleagues and partners from the ASA Dementia Friendly Swimming Project attended the Dementia Challenge 2015 conference on 2 June 2015.
The conference was attended by a range of people involved in different projects and was a great opportunity to discuss ideas and learning, and to share best practice.
Duane Newton, ASA Programme lead, said: “It was really inspiring to hear so many people talk so passionately about the work they are doing in this area.
“There was a lot of interest in the Dementia Friendly Swimming Project, which was really great, and it was a real opportunity to talk to other organisations and health care professionals about how they can support the project.”
