Volunteers Week - Thank you

Volunteer

Thank you to all our volunteers

June 3 – 9 is Volunteers Week and we are we would like to take the opportunity to say Thank you all our volunteers across the disciplines.

With over 30,000 active Official and Volunteer members, Volunteers are the backbone of our sport. Our aquatics clubs and events are about so much more than the swimmers, divers and players engaged in them. Our dedicated volunteer workforce are the heart and soul of club activity ensuring that people are able to participate in our fantastic sport. Volunteers ensure that our National events are a success, and a platform from which our athletes can thrive.

Our volunteers help shape the future of our sport, bringing innovation through Youth Panels and Working groups. Embracing change and driving improvements, volunteers have mastered new technologies to keep ‘the show on the road’. Volunteers are always giving their own time to help. Each and every volunteer who offers their time to support aquatics is valued and appreciated for what they do. Our sport simply couldn’t run without you.

This week and every week we would like to thank you for their contribution and hope that long may it continue.

Thank you volunteers

Volunteer with us

Volunteering opportunities come in all shapes and sizes. There are many different roles available throughout the sport.

Whether you fancy coaching, officiating, supporting your club, helping at national events or being on a committee or working group there is a role for you.

You could help with social media or websites, finding funding/sponsorship opportunities or organising kit. From Front of House team members at events, Runners and Stewards, to Field of Play, Technology, Communication and Marketing we have something for everyone.  Each role is as important as another resulting in our clubs and events running successfully and athletes and spectators alike getting the maximum benefit.
