Uppingham School in Rutland is seeking a vibrant and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our dedicated Swim School staff at our Sports Centre on a permanent basis.

As a valued member of our Swim School team, your main role will involve planning and conducting enjoyable and secure swimming lessons for individuals of all ages, including children and adults. You'll have the privilege of using your knowledge, experience and skill set, all within our state-of-the-art facilities. About you

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding service and who possesses excellent communication and teaching skills. You will be well qualified and will have or will be willing to work towards either an ASA/Swim England Qualifications Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or an STA Full qualification. 

Shifts available 

We are currently recruiting to the following days and times:

  • Monday 16:00 – 19:15 (3 hours 15 minutes)
  • Friday 15:45 – 18:00 (2 hours 15 minutes)
  • Saturday 09:30 – 12:30 (3 hours)
  • Sunday 09:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)
