Assistant Head Swimming Coach

Teddington Swimming Club (TSC) in Middlesex is recruiting for an experienced suitably qualified Performance Coach to support our Head Coach and take on the role of Assistant Head Coach as well as lead a performance squad.

Last season, TSC had 18 swimmers reach British, English or Open Water Nationals. This season (2024) we currently have 24 swimmers qualified for British or English Nationals and expect this to increase with open water qualifications.

We are looking for a Performance Coach who has had experience leading their own performance squad and taking swimmers to at least Regional Level. Experience at a National Level would be beneficial but is not a requirement.

We are a relatively small club but have achieved highly at British and English Nationals as well as Open Water Nationals over the past seasons. We would love to find an enthusiastic, skilled coach to join our team and work closely with the Head Coach.

An open water qualification or experience is desirable but ultimately - and what matters the most -  we are looking for the right person to fit into our close team and become part of the TSC community.

This role requires a mix of evening, early morning and weekend work, as well as travel and attendance to meets.
