Introduction to our Club

As the leading Club programme with Swim England Performance Centre status and located in the South of England, we are reigning County Champions, and regularly feature in the top five programmes at the National Arena League Cup Final. Moreover, we consistently feature at British and English events with upwards of 44 swimmers and 20 relay teams invited to compete at British.

WDSC is an exciting, evolving and dynamic club offering a wide programme using a “one team” approach. We aim to provide training opportunities within the right environment to enable each swimmer in the Club the chance to reach their full potential, at an aspirational level which is suitable to them. The club is a registered limited company and charity with a diverse offering in the community from performance and masters swimming to participation squads, open water and an emerging water polo squad.

Since 2012 the Club has more than tripled in size resulting in around 650 active swimming members. At the start of 2016, WDSC moved to the then-new 8 x 50m pool in High Wycombe. The club continues to grow working closely with the local community, schools, and local learn to swim programmes.
