Artistic Swimming Judge Level 1

Candidates MUST be SE Members and be 16 years of age or over on the day of the course.

Candidates MUST be familiar with the concept of judging, how a competition works and have watched/worked with and observed swimmers taking part in competitions and performing figures and routines.

Candidates should:

1) Have seen, and be familiar with;  Basic Positions, Basic Movements, Figure and Routine Grades 1,23 12U Age Group FINA Figures, and Combination Routines. – it is encouraged that candidates have the support of a club coach or judge to be able to have done some preparation for the course before hand, in the way of watching, observing and becoming familiar with synchro language and names.
